What is a Corporate/Furnished Housing?
A corporate/furnished Housing is typically a fully-furnished apartment that includes all housewares, linens, cable, phone, Internet, utilities, etc. They are similar to a hotel, however usually are much larger than a hotel room, and include the conveniences of an apartment such as full kitchens, bathrooms, and separate bedrooms.

Will the leasing office run a credit check if I rent a corporate/furnished apartment?
Yes, due to Fair Housing Laws in the District Of Columbia, ever new resident furnished or unfurnished will have a credit check conducted. This is non-negotiable.

What is the process for selecting my apartment?
You can view the listings on our web site or speak with a reservation specialist to help make your selection or fill out a request form and we will get back to you shortly.

What happens after we sign the lease?
After signing your new Lease Agreement, you we need to collect the security deposit, in the form of "good funds" (bank or cashier's check payable to Signature Properties).

What if I am in need of maid service? What is included in the service?
Maid service is available weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or will call. Please contact us for current rates maid service includes a thorough cleaning of the apartment, laundering of linens and towels, and changing of bed linens.

What if I need to extend my stay?
We need 30 days verbal and written notice for extention of any stay. Notice may be given on any day of the month.

What if we have a pet?
If the apartment is pet friendly, there is a one time non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet. Two pets maximum.

What if the apartment is in need of repair?
We do not allow tenants to perform repairs. Please fill out the maintenance request form online. All requests need to be in writing. Either the Landlord/Agent will address the needed repairs.

What is the minimum lease term?
If the apartment is furnished the minimum lease would be from 1 to 6 months and if it is non-furnished, 6 to 12 months depends on the apartment.

Why is the rent not listed on some apartments?
The apartments that do not have the rent price listed are occupied for long term and rent prices are not yet set, however, please call for more detailed information.

What time if moving in?
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, properties are available for move in after 5pm on the start date of the lease.

How do I get my security deposit back?
The security Deposit will be returned to the tenant writhing 30-45 days after move out, less any outstanding charge and a final cleaning fee.
